Excellent pannier for commuting or utility. Not waterproof, but will keep things reasonably dry for an hour of moderate rain. Due to the angle of the brackets this bag can only be mounted on the left side of the bike (the bags are sold individually). The locking system is very secure, but can be a little hard to manipulate on some racks. |

I bought this model in 2001 (2 years ago) and I got hooked on Arkel. The basket is huge yet simple to use - i carried loads of over 30 lbs in a single basket. I had Arkel make me another set for the right hand side. The hook system is super secure and i cannot imagine it breaking. |
