OR Comments		 The j-hooks are of unfinished aluminum with edges sharp enough to tear up the paint on your racks. Both my Tubus Cargo rear and Bruce Gordon front racks are very scratched up from using these panniers. Arkel should dip them in that rubber they use for coating tool handles or something.

OR Comments		 Excellent construction. The snugging strap design might be improved. It goes across the outside mesh pocket and I sometimes like to stick crushable things in that pocket. Also it's so low on that pocket that sometimes you can't use the full depth or it tends to push things upwards. Maybe it should not go across the outside of the mesh pocket? (My wife also has two of these that she used on the Trans-Am and likes them very well.)

OR Comments		 Awesome panniers - I also have the rear set and they match to perfection. They are not waterproof but i still rate them 5/5 because it is understood that they are not. Rain covers are easily taking care of that and are keeping the bags clean as well!

OR Comments		 Excellent panniers. Only complaint would be the compression strap which crosses the outer mesh pocket which can be inconvienient at times. Arkel should reroute this strap behind the mesh pocket if possible. Locking device will not work with the O.M.M. low rider racks due to clearance issues related to rack components. I removed them from my panniers and experienced no problems related to the bags shifting or coming off.

OR Comments		 I have a single one with the Backpack option. I would like to see a flap to cover the hook system when using it as a backpack. The locking system can be hard to work on some racks with a top plate, but it is very nice to be able to move all the mounting parts arround to suit the rack.
